Why Did You Join AΩE?
I joined AΩE because I wanted to make friends within engineering (I was a Chemical Engineer my first year) with women that had similar interests to me. I wanted to be a part of a social organization, but one that also had members with similar academic interests.

What Do You Like Most About AΩE?
I like that AΩE has a huge alumnae network that is very involved with us. I’ve made some great connections with our alumnae, and this organization has also given me many opportunities to take on leadership roles. In addition, I’ve made some of my best friends with sisters in this org, so my experience has been completely irreplaceable.

Do You Have Any Suggestions or Words of Wisdom for Potential Members?
Come to our events! It definitely is hard at first to try to join a group for the first time and make new friends, but I promise you’ll find a place in AΩE for yourself and you’ll grow to love our sisters if you put yourself out there 🙂
