Message from the Vice President

We are so excited that you are interested in the Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon!

AΩE is a professional and social sorority comprised of female students pursuing engineering and technical science majors. Established on October 11, 1996, our chapter at the University of Southern California has been helping students to achieve their personal and professional goals.

We promote our ideals to inspire and motivate other female engineers and develop bonds of lifelong friendships. We strive to achieve scholastic excellence, while at the same time fostering an environment of sisterhood, self-confidence, and integrity.

We host and promote events each semester that focus on professionalism, philanthropy, leadership, and friendship. Our professional committee organizes interview and resume workshops, networking events, and LinkedIn seminars among other business related activities. Some of our favorite philanthropies that we are involved in are Relay for Life, Troy Camp, and Heal the Bay. We also have sisterhood and social events, such as shopping trips, movie and food nights, crafts of all kinds, weekend hiking, and outings to explore the greater LA area. For some evidence of these events, check out our Flikr, Instagram , and Facebook page.

When I was a freshman, I was so glad that I joined AΩE in my first semester because I got to meet some amazing women in engineering right off the bat, have a group of friends to tailgate with on game days, and feel like I was part of something here at USC. I know that sometimes joining new things can be intimidating, but the sisters in AΩE are so welcoming that they really make you want to be a part of the group.

What I find most unique about our sorority is the guidance and support we get from our alumnae, who help with academic assistance and advice for the future. These women are very involved and truly care for the success of our chapter and members. Our alumnae will be an excellent resource for you to have as you embark on your career in the engineering field. We have a mentoring program with our sister chapters throughout the US. We also have some scholarships that are available through the Alpha Omega Epsilon organization that members and non-members are eligible to apply for.

If you are looking to build a close relationship with some other women in engineering then I encourage you to give Alpha Omega Epsilon a try, and check out our recruitment page for more information about when we have recruitment events coming up!

Our sisters are a great support system because they know the intensity of pursuing an engineering degree. Together, we help each other to be the best that we can. We motivate each other to pursue further knowledge and understanding within our studies. We encourage each other to go after opportunities that will better our futures.

I have planned some great recruitment events for this semester, and I really hope that you come out to meet us. I’ve made some of my closest friends through this sorority, and I truly recommend our organization if you’re looking for a group to be involved in throughout your time at USC.

Please check our Facebook page at for updates on our upcoming recruitment events.  If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email at or FIGHT ON!
